REMO has recently stipulated the National Standard of Gasoline Outboards for China government as the single enterprise member.
As a national high-tech enterprise, we are engaged in developing and manufacturing new high-tech products of electric and gasoline and kerosine outboard engines from 2 up to 90hp, 2 or 4-stroke.
REMO technique core team, led by our Chief Engineer, have experience of outboards since 1968 and cooperated with OMC (the original manufacturer of Johnson and Evinrude outboard engines, merged by BRP ) to develop critical components for high-power outboard engines in last 90s. Our Japanese partners have been working with top brands of outboards, such as Yamaha and Tohatsu, in Japan or overseas for ages. With such professional background, Parsun, ranking the 2nd next to Mercury in the last five years in a row, has accounted for 50-70% of China exports of outboard engines as per customs statistics
Similar to Mercury Marine, we have invested in YONGKANG, China as a cost-effective plan for mass production. The YONGKANG region has offered extensive advantages for foreign investments. Therefore, REMO plans to increase investment and expand production facilities.
Along with fast growing sales in more countries, we have been expanding our current production facilities more than doubling and are going to set up new plants with the first-class equipment and facilities and are moving over in Sept. & Oct.
