Brief Introduction

R-303 is a one-component dipping resin which is formed by epoxy resin, curing agent and thinner.It’s heat-resistant grade is B (130°C). R-303 corresponds the RoHS environmental protection requirement.

Application

This paint is fit for the continuous dipping technology, fast-dry dipping insulating operate and VPI process of small-scale stator coil, like fan motor, electric tool motor, air-condition motor and water pump motor etc.

Usage

1.Continuous immersion process

1.1 Common technological process:

Start	preheat	cool	immersion	drain	bake	off
rhythm	2	2	1	2	13-17

1.2 Technology parameter:

rhythm time	3-7 minutes
preheating temperature	125-135 °C
gel temperature	125-135 °C
curing temperature	130-140 °C

1.3 Attentions:

(1) R-303’s viscosity is 10-14s when uses, if the viscosity is too large, it should be diluted by our special 303-X thinner.

(2) Capping the paint tank and immersion tank when do not work.

(3) Paint tank and paint line should be cleaned regularly (1-3 months once), with the 100-150 mesh filter screen to remove the iron filings, coat of paint, dirt and other impurities.

2. VPI process (for compound vacuum impregnation drying machinery )

2.1 Preheat: Put the unit in immersion tank, rise temperature up to 50-60°C and keep for 30 mins, vacuumize to -0.09MPa and keep 2-5 mins then input resin.

2.2 Vacuum impregnation: Close the vacuum valve, input the resin at least 50mm above the unit, keep the vacuum of -0.08MPa for 3-5 mins.

2.3 Relieve vacuum of immersion tank, then vacuumize for paint tank, and return the resin.

2.4 Drain unit for 30-60 mins.

2.5 Clean: Input thinner into the bottom of tank with pump and keep 5 mins.

2.6 Bake at 120-130°C for 2 hours until dry.
