Introduction

R-1140-3 fast curing solvent-free impregnating resin is made from unsaturated polyester resin, curing agent and thinner etc. It presents in one-component form and with thermal class F. It has gained UL certification (No.: E227128) and comply with the RoHS environmental requirements.

R-1140-3 is widely used and suitable for impregnation of small types of motors and apparatus coils, recommend for Y2 series motor, water pump motor, electric tool motors, and air-condition motor etc. It can be used by fast drying immersion, continuous immersion and VPI method of application.

Usage

1. Fast drying impregnation process

1.1 Preheat unit for 1-3 hours at 100-120°C.

1.2 Allow unit to cool to 60°C before dipping into varnish, dip unit in varnish for 2-15 mins until basically no bubble.

1.3 Drain unit for 30-60 mins.

1.4 Bake unit for 2-4 hours at 120-130°C.

2. Continuous immersion process

3. Vacuum impregnation process

3.1 Preheat: Rise temperature up to 50-60°C and keep for 30 mins, vacuumize above -0.09MPa and keep 2-5 mins then input resin.

3.2 Vacuum impregnation: Close the vacuum valve, input the resin at least 50mm above the unit, keep the vacuum of -0.08MPa for 3-5 mins.

3.3 Returning resin.

3.4 Drain unit for 30-60 mins.

3.5 Clean: Input thinner into the bottom of tank with pump and keep 5 mins.

3.6 Bake at 120-130°C for 2 hours.
