95WNiFe Vibration damping tungsten heavy alloy boring bar
Tungsten heavy alloy boring bar is manufactured with alloys of 90%-97% tungsten. Its surface is in sintered form or machined form or polished form. Tungsten heavy metal boring bar has the similar properties to the tungsten carbide boring bars, but the different chemical composition can help to reduce brittlement. Owing to the high density combining with tensile strength, tungsten heavy metal boring bar is great in resisting the chatter. So it also have the name as chatter free boring bar or supper chatter free boring bar.
Tungsten heavy metal boring bar is widely used for boring bars, grinding mandrels, tool shafts and types of precision tool that need vibration-damping to ensure smooth running.
