Feature

Molybdenum sheet is very good material for high temperature Hot-Zone construction. It is work well at 1800 degree celsius.

The heat shielding is make up of multiple layers of molybdenum sheet with spaces between each layer. Generally, a heat shielding often consists of 3 - 5 layers of molybdenum sheet backed by stainless steel sheet. For higher operation temperatures, the number of molybdenum layers is increased as well as the thickness of each layer.
