Cardamom Oil is obtained by steam distillation of the seeds of Elettaria Cardamom Maton (Fam: Zingiberaceae).

Description : Almost colourless to pale yellow to light brownish colour fluid liquid.
Odour : Odour is Warm, Spicy, Aromatic, Balsamic-Woody, increasingly sweet &
somewhat Camphoraceous. It's taste is strong Aromatic, Pungent, Warm &
Spicy.
Main Constituents: Cineole, AlphaTerpinyl Acetate, Terpineol, Borneol, Terpenes, Limonene &
Sabinene.
Solubility : Soluble in Alcohol and other organic solvents and insoluble in water.
Use : Perfumery Compounds, Flavouring of Pickles, Meat, Sauce, Seasonings,
etc, In Pharmaceuticals used in Digestive Syrups and Flavouring of
medicines, used in Liquers and Tobacco for flavouring.
