1. Introduction
PVC Coated Welded Gabion Baskets
PVC Coated Welded Gabion Baskets can be design as your request. It is the most common and most practical kind that is used in the project.
Filled with stones at the river bank or seaside, it can be used to stop flood, and prevent the rock on the mountaion from falling. Steel wire used is hot-dip galvanized or galfan(zinc 95%, aluminum 5%). If it is required, 0.5 mm PVC is then coated on the galvanized/galfan wire to provide protection when used in aggressive environment.
PVC Coated Welded Gabion Baskets can withstand acid soils, salt or fresh water or wherever the risk of errosion. In order to reinforce the structure, the edge wire has a greater diameter than the mesh wire.
PVC Coated Welded Gabion Baskets is divided into units by means of diaphragms positioned at approximately 1m centre.
