Oil entering the the air stream causes;

- turbocharger compressor contaminated with dirty engine oil
The filter is replaceable (we have two types filter, steel and white fiber), however they have a long service if maintained when you do your regular engine servicing. This is not the M & H branded Provent. This is a reduced cost but same functionality version. It uses the same filter concept, has the pressure valve in the lid and in the canister to avoid positive pressure in the crank case
