CorroCell 1000C
A fine ceramic coating provides life time corrosion protection and chemical resistance in thin films (20~30µm). When applied to exhaust systems and other equipments and tools in extreme temperature environment, existing colors are red, white, and cream.
Special Features
l water-based, no VOC
l Strong pencil hardness (8-9H on metal substrates) (JIS5400,1000g)
l Strong adhesions (interfacial chemically bonded) (cross-cut,ASTMD3359, 5b)
l High temperature tolerance (the coatings adhesion remains in excess 1000 ºC).
l Effective corrosion resistance ( 5% neutral salt spray, ASTM B117, 3 days no rust spots)
Applications
CorroCell® 1000C is specially designed and developed for metal surface protection against wear and corrosion in extreme high temperature and corrosive environment. The coatings are suitable for exhausts system in motor vehicle, chemical and oil refinery, waste incinerators, heat exchangers, boilers, super heaters, stoves, barbecues and reactors.
Application Data
Pre-clean all parts and other contaminates before coating, better sand blast the metal surface.
Stir and shake well, it is best to mixing in any unit capable of producing high speed shear/dispersion till rump/particle free consistency, Provided ready to spray
SPRAY: Any conventional touch-up gun with nozzle size 1.8mm or less, apply coating in light fog passes to achieve a thickness of 20 to 30 microns [just fully cover the surface evenly]and Check part for complete coverage.
Curing: 5 min to dry at50ºC-60ºC and bake at 200ºC to 250ºC for 30 min or ramp up to its operation temperature for coated objects after dry at ambient conditions
