High-precision oscillating measurement instrument for rapid analysis of the complete wire, enamelled wire or cable cross-section during production (In-line) and thus of the drawing die and final control of wire (Off-line)
For the measurement of the wire cross-section off-line, the wire is mounted in the measurement system DIAM 13F. For in-line analizing the wire is running through the measuring unit. The measurement head is rotated through 180°, so that the complete wire geometry can be acquired. The standard setting samples the diameter ca. 1200 times.
With increasing automation, and especially with automatic reel swapping, it is becoming more and more important to monitor the product during the production process and to be able to control the process.
