1.About the brown fused alumina
Properties: The bauxite, coke (anthracite) as main raw material, by smelting at high temperature in the EAF, the main chemical composition: Al203, Ti02 also small amounts of Si02 and Fe203. Characteristics: higher toughness than SiC, Microhardness 1800-2200kg/mm2, bulk density ≥ 3.85g/cm3,
high temperature, high refractoriness1850oc.
