Brown Fused Alumina (BFA), which also called corundum, is produced by a reduction fusion of bauxite, carbon materials and iron scrape in electric arc furnaces. The main components are Al2O3 with small percentage of SiO2, TiO2 and Fe2O3.
The BFA produced by Zhongbang Abrasives Co., Ltd. are all first grade BFA with the proportion of Al2O3 more than 95%, which select high quality block BFA from the tilt pouring furnaces, processed through rolling machine, Barmac machine, autogenous milling machine and magnetic machine, it is characterized by its high-hardness, great toughness, resistance of shock, high temperature, oxidation and corrosion. It is the ideal raw material for producing grinding wheels, sandpaper, blasting media, metal preparation, lapping, polishing, and grinding.
