EDI(Eiecterodeionization)is a new pure water and super pure water producing technics which developed from 1990s. The technics skillfully integrate electrodialysis and ion-exchange, through selectively permeating to kation and anion, and exchanging to ions, get the ions to move in a direction under DC to complete salt taking-off water, meanwhile super pure water can be produced continuously without acid & alkali chemical regeneration.
The technology skillfully electrodialysis and ion exchange technology to integration. The device is fully caught in the ion exchange resin anion and cation exchange membrane between the EDI unit. EDI will be a certain number of components between the EDI unit separated by webs to form a thick water chamber, and both ends of the unit group of yin, yang electrode. In DC, driven by fresh water in the chamber, respectively, through the anion exchange membrane into the anion concentration in fresh water chamber and the chamber removed; this device generally RO water as water supply, according to the de-ionized water use and system configurations for resistivity in the 1-18.2MΩ.cm (25 ℃) of pure water.
