Lateral Metal Bellows Expansion Joints are mainly used to absorb lateral displacement and can also be used to compensate for axial, lateral, angular, and the synthesis of these three forms displacement in any direction. It is recommended that double-rod type expansion joint should be installed in the intermediate tube of Z-shaped pipe arm at 90 ° to compensate for the axial displacement of the long pipes at the ends. Large rod transverse corrugated compensator can compensate for the lateral displacement of the bending pipe and small amount of angular displacement, but generally not used to compensate for angular displacement. The compensator is made up of adapter, two bellows and lager rods. It can absorb any lateral displacement of the pipe. The rod also has the ability to withstand the internal pressure thrust.
