Carbon fiber Plates/sheets are multiple layers of unidirectonal carbon fiber oriented at 0 and 90 degrees.  The surface can be 3K twill or 3K plain weave.


Carbon fiber plates/sheets have advantages as follows:

  • Dimensional stability: Low to Zero CTE (Coefficient of Thermal Expansion)

  • X-Ray transparency
