FRP grating, the full name as moulded fiberglass reinforced plastic grating or grille, is a kind of panel, produced by weaving, forming and demoulding. The materials are unsaturated polyster resin and fiberglass reinforced plastic. Because of weaving the FRP and soaking it in resin thoroughly, the panel is finished as a complete and integrated piece, with equal bi-directional intensity.
The FRP grating can be produced with many specifications according to clients' different requirement, including the mesh size, the thickness of the grating, as well as the color.
The FRP grating is widely used as platform, gangway and walkway in many fields, such as petroleum industry, mining industry,chemical industry, printing and dyeing industry, etc, with its feature of high strength-weight ratio, anti-corrosion, anti-slip and long service life.

Product Feature

Production Process
Fiberglass grating is produced by glass fiber braiding, casting resin integral moulding with many regular distributions of the rectangular and square space of FRP grille plate. It is produced in an open and heated mould which is like a big waffle iron. Continuous glass fibers are placed in the mould in alternating layers, and wetted thoroughly with resin. This continuous process produces and integral and one-piece panel. After the weaving process is completed, the mould is heated to cure the panel. This process makes the FRP grating featured with bi-directional strength.

FRP grating is widely used in the fields of petrochemical industry, textile printing and dyeing, food processing, electronics industry, pharmaceutical manufacturing, metal smelting, sewage treatment, transportation, water plant breeding, pulp and paper, shipbuilding, civil architecture etc. The concrete uses include operating platform, overhauling walkways, driling platform, terrace, stair steps, equipment aisle, trench over, boat deck, fence, etc.
