Product Description
Tannic acid
Tannic acid is a light yellow or yellow powder solid, which can turn black when exposed to air. Odorless and strongly astringent. Soluble in water, ethanol, acetone, almost insoluble in benzene, chloroform, ether and petroleum ether. Melting point 218 °C(lit.), boiling point 862.78°C (rough estimate), density 1.2965 (rough estimate), refractive index 1.7040 (estimate), flash point 198°C.

Clarifying agent, astringent enhancer, crude oil deodorant, aroma enhancer; Tannic acid can be used for tanning leather, ink manufacturing, paper and silk gluing, boiler descaling, etc., can also be used as mordant, beer and wine clarifying agent, rubber coagulant and so on. Can be used for printing and dyeing, metallurgy and other industries.
