IS200EXAMG1AAB is an excitation machine attenuation module manufactured and designed by General Electric, and is part of the EX2100 series used in excitation turbine control systems. When the excitation machine attenuation module (IS200EXAM or EXAM) is used together with the excitation machine grounding detector module (IS200 EGDM or EGDM), it forms the grounding detection system for EX2100 excitation control. EXAM is installed in the high-voltage interface (HVI) module inside the auxiliary cabinet. Its function is to reduce the high voltage of the bridge, convert it to a manageable level, and provide attenuation between the fieldbus and EGDM.
