Packaging and Storage of Tongdun Ionic Interlayer Film
Packaging : The inner packaging uses aluminized film vacuum packaging, and the outer packaging uses wooden box packaging. Both the inner and outer packages are attached with product information certificates.
Storage: It should be stored in a cool and dry place at a temperature below 30℃, avoiding direct sunlight. If the package is opened or damaged, it should be placed in a constant temperature dehumidification room with a temperature of 18 - 25℃ and a relative humidity below 25% and used as soon as possible.
Transportation: During transportation, avoid sunlight exposure, rain, heavy pressure, and severe vibration.
Shelf Life: The normal storage shelf life is two years. After opening the package, it can be stored for 3 months in a constant temperature dehumidification room with a temperature of 18 - 25℃ and a relative humidity below 25%.
Performance Introduction of Tongdun Ionic Interlayer Film
The ionic interlayer film is an ionic film of a copolymer of ethylene and methacrylate, containing a small amount of sodium metal ions. The bonding force between this film and glass is mainly the result of the ionic bond effect. Therefore, the bonding force between the ionic interlayer film and glass is much higher than that between the PVB film and glass. Moreover, its hardness is 100 times that of the traditional PVB interlayer material, and its tear strength is 5 times that of the PVB interlayer material. The ionic interlayer film developed by Tongdun has high bonding performance, optical performance, and mechanical performance, which can fully meet the requirements of the laminated safety glass industry for interlayer films. Compared with the PVB film, the laminated glass with the ionic polymer film has the following characteristics:
● Higher strength
The laminated glass with Tongdun ionic polymer film has higher bending strength than that with the PVB film. Under the same glass structure and thickness, it has higher load-bearing and wind pressure resistance.
● Lower deflection and larger equivalent glass thickness
Due to its high strength, in architectural design, under the same deflection requirement, the laminated glass with Tongdun ionic polymer film can achieve it with a smaller glass thickness. It is beneficial to reducing the weight of the glass and the weight of the entire support system.
● Better post-breakage safety.
The ionic polymer film has higher tensile strength and tear strength, and its laminated glass still has strong support after being broken.
● Better optical performance.
The ionic polymer film has higher light transmittance, lower haze, and a low yellow index. After being compounded with ultra-clear glass, it has higher transparency and visual effects.
