The high efficiency of plate chain conveyors is first reflected in their powerful conveying capacity. From the design principle, it adopts a structure that combines chains and chain plates. As the transmission component, the chain has high strength and good wear resistance, and can withstand the huge weight and friction of ores. The chain plate is the part that directly bears the ores. Its special material and shape design enable the ores to be stably placed on it without easily slipping. For example, in some large open-pit mines, plate chain conveyors can transport several tons or even dozens of tons of ores per hour, greatly improving the ore transportation efficiency. Compared with traditional transportation methods, such as belt conveyors, plate chain conveyors have obvious advantages when conveying large-particle, high-hardness ores. Because in the conveying process, belt conveyors are easily worn by ores, resulting in belt damage and requiring frequent replacement. In contrast, the chain plates and chains of plate chain conveyors are more sturdy and durable, reducing the equipment maintenance cost and downtime.
