The Guangdong Shuangli NH-YJV 50 cross-linked polyethylene insulated cables in Foshan have four major performances:
1. Heat resistance: XLPE with a reticular three-dimensional structure has excellent heat resistance. It will not decompose or carbonize below 300℃, with a long-term working temperature of up to 90℃ and a thermal life of up to 40 years.
2. Insulation performance: XLPE retains the original good insulation characteristics of PE, and its insulation resistance is further increased. Its dielectric loss tangent value is very small and is not significantly affected by temperature.
3. Mechanical properties: Due to the establishment of new chemical bonds between macromolecules, the hardness, stiffness, wear resistance and impact resistance of XLPE are all improved, thus making up for the shortcoming of PE being prone to cracking due to environmental stress.
4. Chemical resistance: XLPE has strong resistance to acids, alkalis and oils. Its combustion products are mainly water and carbon dioxide, which cause less harm to the environment and meet the requirements of modern fire safety.
