Performance Characteristics of Valve Body Forgings

Pressure & Impact Resistance

The tensile strength of key parts of the valve body is ≥600MPa, and the yield strength is ≥450MPa, which can resist the instantaneous impact of pipeline medium and the mechanical load of valve opening and closing. The deformation of the valve body flange is ≤0.02mm, which helps reduce the risk of creep failure during long-term high-pressure operation.

Strong Corrosion Resistance & Anti-Medium Erosion

Valve bodies for oil and gas adopt materials meeting NACE MR0175 standards, with strictly controlled S and P contents ≤0.01%. They show good performance in resisting sulfide stress cracking (SSCC) and hydrogen induced cracking (HIC), suitable for corrosive scenarios such as acidic gas fields and hydrogenation units.

Precision Sealing & Reduced Leakage Risk

The cladding layer thickness is uniformly controllable (0.5-1.5mm), with good wear resistance and anti-seizure performance. The sealing performance remains stable after multiple valve opening and closing operations, which helps reduce the risk of accidents caused by medium leakage.

Balanced Strength & Toughness + Fatigue Resistance

Through customized heat treatment, the performance ratio of "high surface strength, high core toughness" is realized. The core impact toughness is ≥45J/cm² (20℃), which helps reduce the risk of brittle fracture of the valve body under impact loads and improves system operation stability.
