Description
Rigid Phlogopite Mica Sheets are high-performance insulation boards composed of ~90% natural phlogopite mica paper bonded with 10% high-temperature silicone resin. They are ideal for high-heat environments, offering continuous thermal resistance up to 750–850°C and a dielectric strength of over 16 kV/mm.These amber-to-brown sheets are highly prized for industrial and consumer heating applications where both structural integrity and extreme thermal insulation are required.
Features
Heat Resistance: Phlogopite withstands continuous temperatures of 750°C to 850°C and peak temperatures up to 1000°C, outperforming its counterpart, Muscovite.
Electrical Insulation: Delivers high breakdown voltage, making it an excellent barrier against electrical arcs and short circuits.
Mechanical Strength: Provides rigid, self-supporting structure that is easy to saw, drill, or machine into custom shapes without delaminating.
Standard Sizes: Available in standard sheet dimensions like 1000 mm × 1200 mm, with thicknesses ranging from 0.1 mm up to over 50 mm
Applications
Home Appliances: Used as supporting frames and insulators for heating elements in toasters, hair dryers, and irons.
Industrial Equipment: Acts as a heat shield or divider in heavy-duty equipment like industrial furnaces, induction furnaces, and circuit breakers.
