Product Overview
The 6S shaking table (also called 6S gold shaker table or fiberglass gravity concentrating table) is one of the most reliable and cost-effective fine mineral separation machines in the mining industry. Driven by an eccentric linkage mechanism, it uses the combined action of deck vibration, transverse water flow and riffle traps to separate gold, tin, tungsten, chrome, coltan and other heavy minerals from gangue based on specific gravity difference.
With a wear-resistant fiberglass deck reinforced with corundum, adjustable stroke/frequency/slope, and 90–95% recovery on 0.037–2 mm particles, the 6S model is widely used as the final cleaning stage after trommel, jig or centrifugal concentrator in both alluvial gold wash plants and hard-rock gold processing lines.
How 6S Gold Shaking Table Works
Ore slurry is fed from the upper corner of the inclined deck while clean water flows across the riffles. Under asymmetric reciprocating motion (slow forward, fast return), high-density particles like gold settle into the riffles and move toward the concentrate discharge edge, while light tailings are washed down the lower side. The result is a clear fan-shaped distribution of concentrate – middling – tailings that operators can visually monitor and adjust in real time.

Typical Application Flow (Alluvial Gold)
Trommel scrubber → Centrifugal concentrator / jig (roughing) → 6S gold shaking table (cleaning) → Final gold concentrate ≥ 90% purity
Middlings can be recycled to the table feed to push total plant recovery up by 8–15%.
