1. Ask: Inquire about the purchase time, usage, and reasons for sale of the gasoline generator set, the repair situation, and which main parts have been replaced, as well as any problems encountered during use, so as to have a relatively comprehensive understanding of the machine.
2. Look: First, check whether the model is an obsolete one. Then, observe the newness or oldness of the gasoline generator set from the appearance. Finally, check whether the parts are complete and whether there is any damage.
3. Test: That is to test the machine. The specific steps are as follows:
1. Shake the flywheel up and down. If there is no noise and no obvious shaking, it indicates that the clearance between the crankshaft main journal and the bearing bush is not large. Rotate the flywheel. If there is no rattling sound, it indicates that the wear between the crankshaft connecting rod journal and the connecting rod bush is not serious.
2. Depressurize the cylinder and turn the crankshaft. When the decompression is removed, if the reaction force of the piston is large and the flywheel rotates rapidly, it indicates that the wear of the cylinder liner, piston, and piston ring is small. At this time, the reading of the oil pressure gauge should not be lower than 1, or the red floating mark indicating the oil pressure can rise quickly, and it should be difficult to press the floating mark by hand.
3. If the gasoline generator set is relatively easy to start, the exhaust is colorless or light gray, the rotation speed is stable, and there is no noise, it indicates that the technical condition of the gasoline generator set is good.
4. Turn the crankshaft to make the fuel injection pump supply fuel. If the fuel injector emits a clear fuel injection sound, it indicates that the performance of the plunger pair and the fuel injector is still good. If there is no abnormal noise in the gear chamber, it indicates that the wear of the gears is not serious.
