Ixef PARA (polyarylamide) combines high strength and aesthetics ***ly, making it ideal for complex parts that require both overall strength and a smooth, beautiful surface.
Ixef compounds typically contain 50-60% glass fiber reinforcement and offer *** strength and stiffness. What makes this material unique is that even when filled with high glass fiber content,
its smooth, resin-rich surface can form a high-gloss surface free of glass fibers, making it ideal for painting, metal plating, or producing naturally reflective housings.
High flow for thin walls
Additionally, Ixef PARA is a highly fluid resin that can easily fill thin walls as thin as 0.5 mm even at glass fiber contents up to 60%.

The resin-rich *** surface has a highly glossy appearance, even with high glass fiber content.
High strength and stiffness
At ambient temperature, the tensile and flexural strengths of Ixef compounds are similar to those of many cast metals and alloys. At 23°C (73°F), typical values for Ixef 1032 (60% glass fiber) are 280 MPa and 400 MPa, respectively.
Solvay PARA comprehensive product range
Semi-aromatic, semi-crystalline polyamide base resins compounded with glass fiber, carbon fiber, mineral and/or advanced fillers. Impact-modified and flame-retardant grades are available.
