Executive Summary
This document outlines the technical specifications for a range of Fire & Explosion-Resistant Chemical Storage Cabinets, designed to ensure safe storage of flammable, combustible, and corrosive liquids in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.106 and NFPA 30 standards. Construction & Materials
Body: Fabricated from prime 1.2mm (18-gauge) cold-rolled steel.
Fireproofing: Double-wall construction with a 40mm (1.6") insulating air gap between walls.
Shelving: Adjustable, perforated galvanized steel shelves with a load capacity of 350 lbs (159 kg) per shelf. Shelves are coated with a chemical-resistant epoxy.
Hinges: Continuous, uninterrupted piano hinge manufactured from stainless steel for corrosion resistance and to prevent door sag.
Finish: Exterior is finished in a powder-coated epoxy paint. Standard colors include Safety Yellow, Fire Red, and Corrosive Blue (RAL codes available upon request).

Spill Containment:
Feature: Integral, seamless 5cm (2") deep leak-proof sump.
Capacity: Sump capacity exceeds 10% of the total storage volume, compliant with standard regulatory recommendations.
Fire Performance:
Feature: 40mm air gap insulation.
Performance: Independently tested to maintain an internal temperature below 325°F (163°C) for a minimum of 90 minutes when subjected to a standard external fire test.
Vapor Control:
Feature: Two (2) threaded, flame-arrester vent ports (1" NPT).
Purpose: Allows for connection to a mechanical ventilation system to prevent the accumulation of flammable vapors. Vents are designed to prevent flashback.
Grounding: One (1) factory-installed, ½" stainless steel grounding boss with attached bonding wire for static electricity dissipation.
