1.Product Introduction
A flotation machine, short for flotation concentrator, refers to the mechanical equipment that completes the flotation process. In a flotation machine, after the ore slurry is treated with chemicals, some of the ore particles are selectively attached to the bubbles through agitation and aeration; they float to the surface of the ore slurry and are scraped off to form foam products, while the rest remains in the ore slurry, achieving the purpose of separating minerals.
2.Application
Flotation machines are widely used in roughing and cleaning flotation operations in mineral processing plants for non-ferrous metals, ferrous metals, and non-metallic minerals.
3.Working Principle
The flotation machine is driven by a motor through a V-belt to rotate the impeller, creating a centrifugal effect that forms negative pressure. On one hand, it sucks in sufficient air to mix with the slurry, and on the other hand, it stirs the slurry and chemicals to mix. At the same time, it refines the foam, allowing the minerals to adhere to the foam and float to the surface of the slurry, forming mineralized foam. By adjusting the height of the gate plate, the liquid level is controlled, allowing the foam to be scraped out by the scraper.

The impeller of the stirring device is made of abrasion-resistant rubber, enhancing wear resistance and shortening the replacement cycle. ③.High sorting accuracy and high operational efficiency. It shows its advantages especially for difficult-to-sort coal, with the ash content of clean coal being 1-2% lower than that of conventional mechanical stirring flotation machines. ④.Convenient maintenance and low maintenance costs. Due to the reasonable structural design of the components, the spacing reserved inside the components is appropriate, facilitating the inspection work of operators.
