1. Product Overview
Angle steel, also commonly referred to as angle iron, is a long-profile steel product with two perpendicular sides forming an L-shaped cross-section. 2.1 By Side Dimension
Equal Angle SteelBoth sides of the steel are identical in width, with specifications marked in the format of side width × side width × thickness. Typical examples include 50×50×5mm, 63×63×6mm, and 100×100×8mm, widely used in general structural components with uniform stress distribution.
Unequal Angle SteelThe two sides differ in width, with specifications expressed as long side × short side × thickness, such as 100×63×6mm, 125×80×8mm, and 150×100×10mm. It is specially designed for asymmetric stress conditions and customized structural requirements.
2.2 By Surface Treatment
Hot Rolled Black Angle SteelProduced through high-temperature rolling processes, maintaining the original black oxide surface. It features high production efficiency, stable performance, and cost advantages, suitable for indoor structures or components requiring subsequent anti-corrosion treatment.
