1. Product Description
The Rotary Drum Dryer for Wet Sand Processing Industry is a universal industrial drying equipment designed for full-range wet sand processing, covering silica sand, quartz sand, river sand, manufactured sand and construction sand. In the sand processing industry, washed wet sand features high surface moisture, fine powder adhesion and easy agglomeration, which frequently causes uneven drying, material blockage and low finished product quality in conventional drying machines. Unstable moisture content restricts subsequent screening, grading and mixing processes, resulting in low production efficiency, high material waste and poor economic benefits. Traditional dryers have low thermal efficiency, weak wear resistance and poor operational adaptability to diverse sand materials, failing to meet flexible and large-scale production demands of modern sand processing plants. This industrial rotary drum dryer adopts heavy-duty wear-resistant drum structure, optimized uniform material lifting system, low-temperature gradient circulating drying technology and intelligent linkage control module. It can stably and thoroughly remove surface free moisture and deep adsorbed moisture from various wet sand materials with low particle breakage and no secondary pollution. Featuring strong material adaptability, stable drying performance and low comprehensive energy consumption, it supports long-term continuous full-load operation and serves as the universal standard drying equipment for the entire wet sand processing industry.
2. Working Principle
This industry-grade wet sand rotary drum dryer adopts low-temperature countercurrent circulating heat exchange and universal balanced dehydration working principle, adapting to all kinds of wet sand materials with different humidity and particle characteristics. Diversified wet sand raw materials are continuously and quantitatively delivered into the heavy-duty sealed rotary drum through a stable industrial feeding system. The upgraded multi-functional wear-resistant lifting structure performs flexible flipping, dispersion and uniform cascading on wet sand, thoroughly breaking up agglomerated sand clusters and eliminating internal material accumulation and drying dead zones. A dense and uniform stable material curtain is formed inside the drum to achieve full coverage and balanced heat exchange between sand particles and circulating hot air flow. The multi-stage gradient hot air circulation system conducts progressive countercurrent heat exchange, steadily evaporating surface sticky moisture and deep residual moisture within a safe low-temperature range. The mild universal drying mode ensures thorough and consistent dehydration for different types of sand, protecting particle integrity and stable physical properties without crushing deformation or quality attenuation. The intelligent PLC linkage system dynamically adjusts hot air temperature, air volume and feeding speed according to real-time material conditions and production load, realizing high-precision and adaptive standardized drying for multiple sand materials. Water vapor and fine sand dust generated during operation are fully recycled through a sealed negative-pressure dust recovery system to reduce material loss and achieve clean industrial production. After continuous cyclic drying treatment, low-moisture, loose and high-uniformity finished sand is stably discharged, fully meeting the diversified processing requirements of the modern wet sand processing industry.
