1. Product Description
The Heavy Duty Rotary Dryer for Steel Slag Drying is robust heavy-load drying equipment developed for continuous dewatering of wet steel slag generated from steelmaking and metallurgical processes. Steel slag has high hardness, strong abrasion, uneven particle size and certain moisture, which brings severe wear impact on equipment. This rotary dryer adopts thickened wear-resistant drum body, reinforced heavy-duty transmission assembly, specially designed wear-resistant lifting plates, stable heat supply system and intelligent monitoring module. It can run steadily under harsh abrasive working conditions and reduce the moisture of wet steel slag continuously. It is key supporting equipment for steel slag recycling, building material production and metallurgical solid waste treatment projects.
2. Working Principle
This heavy duty rotary dryer for steel slag adopts countercurrent circulating heat exchange and continuous dehydration principle. Wet steel slag is quantitatively and continuously fed into the rotary drum by the feeding system. The wear-resistant lifting plates repeatedly lift, tumble and disperse steel slag particles to form a uniform material curtain inside the cylinder, enabling sufficient heat exchange between steel slag and hot air. Hot air flows opposite to the material movement direction and evaporates surface and internal moisture of steel slag. The PLC intelligent system monitors drum temperature, air volume and outlet material moisture in real time, and automatically adjusts feeding speed and heat supply to stabilize drying performance. Exhaust gas and fine slag dust are collected and purified by the matched dust removal system to meet environmental emission standards. Dried steel slag is continuously discharged for subsequent crushing, magnetic separation and resource utilization.
