How It Works
The filter element operates on the principle of coalescence. Compressed air enters the filter housing and passes through a pre-filter layer that removes larger particles. The main coalescing media then captures sub-micron oil aerosols and water droplets, causing them to merge into larger droplets. These droplets then gravity-separate and collect in the sump, where an automatic drain valve periodically releases them. The clean, oil-free air exits through the outlet, meeting Class 1 purity requirements.
