Product Overview
H beam, also known as H section steel, is an economical and high-efficiency structural steel with an optimized H-shaped cross section. Different from traditional I-beams, H beam features parallel flange surfaces, right-angle inner corners, uniform section structure and excellent mechanical performance. It has the advantages of light weight, high rigidity, strong bending resistance and material saving, which can reduce steel consumption by 15%–20% for structural projects. It is widely used in building construction, bridge engineering, mechanical equipment and steel structure engineering.
H beams are mainly divided into hot rolled H beam and welded H beam. According to flange width, they are classified into HN (narrow flange), HM (medium flange) and HW (wide flange) series to meet different load-bearing and structural design requirements.
