XZFT Attachments' excavator digging bucket:
The body is a wide, deep shell with a rounded back at one point eight cubic metres, which is the geometry that gives a full load in bulk soil, sand and gravel on a 36 ton class carrier.
The teeth are on bolt on adapters rather than welded straight to the edge, so the points and the adapters are renewable parts and the edge is not cut back at every change.
Corner cutters are bolted at both sides of the edge, so the corners that grind along the face on every pass are protected by parts that unbolt.
Wear segments are welded along the curved side plate edges, the line the bucket drags over abrasive ground, so the shell plate is not the part that is consumed.
Nothing has to be plumbed in: the bucket pins to the linkage of a CAT 336 class machine as a plain mechanical attachment, and the teeth, adapters and corner cutters are the service parts.
