RSPD-500-U4H Surge Protector
A surge is a transient overvoltage in a circuit caused by interference from other electrical appliances or lightning.
It can break down the components and insulation of your appliances, or create a large instantaneous current:
that burns out the appliances.
A surge absorber suppresses surges and minimizes the amount of surge entering your system circuit,
so that your system circuits and appliances can work normally without being damaged. This surge absorber,
compared with other similar products, has a fundamental difference: within a short time, when encountering continuous,
multiple lightning strikes, it can continuously protect the protected object. There is no break point. In contrast, the semi-
mechanical type cannot achieve continuous, always-on protection of the protected object. The function of the surge absorber
is to prevent instantaneous high voltage from damaging equipment.
This product is specially designed for three-phase power circuit applications. Multiple PAVs
are combined with specially treated electrodes, greatly improving the noise immunity test and surge life. This product
is built on an individual unit.
