RSPD-500-U4H Surge Protective Device

A surge is a transient ultra-high voltage in a circuit caused by interference from other electrical appliances or by lightning. This overvoltage can threaten your electrical appliances. Once it enters your appliances, it may break down the components and insulation inside them, or generate a transient high current that burns them out.
    A surge absorber suppresses surges, allowing as little surge as possible to enter your system circuit, so that your system circuit and electrical appliances can work normally without being damaged.Compared with other similar products, the fundamental difference of this surge absorber is that in a short time, when it is subjected to continuous and multiple lightning strikes, it can continuously protect the protected object without any breakpoint. That semi-mechanical type, however, cannot provide continuous, uninterrupted protection for the protected object.The function of a surge absorber is to prevent transient high voltage from damaging equipment.
