Product description:
1. The frame is a thick welded plate with four pin bosses, so the closing load is carried by the frame rather than by a single pivot point.
2. The claws are reinforced along their backs, so closing on rock and heavy scrap is carried by the claw rather than by the tip alone.
3. The tips carry a raised grid pattern, so the bite into the load does not rely on clamping force alone.
4. The cylinder is mounted within the frame between the mounting pins, so the stroke is enclosed by the structure around it.
5. A double acting auxiliary circuit is required, unlike a plain bucket: the carrier has to have a spare valve before the grapple can be used.
