Our Scraped Film Evaporator (also known as Thin Film Evaporator or Wiped Film Evaporator) is designed for the gentle and efficient evaporation of heat-sensitive, viscous, and fouling-prone materials. A high-speed rotating scraper distributes the feed into a thin film on the heated wall, achieving extremely short residence time (seconds only), low operating temperature, and continuous operation with minimal product degradation.
Constructed from SS304 / SS316L stainless steel with optional titanium or Hastelloy wetted parts, the unit complies with CE, ASME, and GMP standards, making it ideal for pharmaceutical, food, chemical, and environmental applications.

Material name, feed capacity (kg/h), feed concentration, target concentration, viscosity, boiling point, available heating source (steam pressure / thermal oil temperature).
Q2: Can you handle highly viscous or easy-coking materials?
Yes. The mechanical scraper continuously renews the film on the heated wall, which is our core advantage for viscous and fouling fluids up to 100,000 cP.
Q3: Is the equipment suitable for heat-sensitive materials?
Yes. Vacuum operation lowers the boiling point, and residence time is only a few seconds, minimizing thermal damage.
