XZFT Attachments excavator trench bucket:
1. At six hundred millimetres across, the bucket cuts the trench to a strip width rather than opening a wide excavation, so the spoil heap, the backfill that follows and the compaction on it are all smaller.
2. The body is narrow but deep, so it reaches pipe and duct depth on a twelve tonne class machine without the extra width that comes with a general purpose bucket.
3. The cutting edge is a straight lip rather than a toothed edge, so the trench bottom comes out level and the walls are left cut clean for pipe laying and bedding.
4. The pin ears at the head are tied together by a tube and gusseted back into the shell, so the digging load is shared across both ears and passed into the body.
5. The shell is a welded plate body with a rolled back, so material releases off the curve when the bucket is tipped instead of hanging up in the corners of a square body.
