Product description:
1. The screen surface is a mesh carried on the drum with cross rails over it, rather than drilled plates bolted in panels, so the openings are fine and the surface is held tight by the rails.
2. The digging end is a row of bolted teeth with renewable points, so the part that wears fastest is a small item on the shelf, and the shanks and the frame stay in service.
3. The drum is carried in an open frame, with no housing around the screening surface, so the mesh is visible from outside and can be hosed off without dismantling the bucket.
4. Oversize is carried up and shed by the turning drum rather than being pressed into the screen, which is what keeps the mesh open when the material is damp.
5. Building the drum and the teeth onto one frame means the bucket digs, breaks and screens in one pass on a twenty tonne class machine, with a single auxiliary circuit for the drum.
