Glass Wool Board
Glass wool blanket is a resilient, flexible roll insulation manufactured from high-purity recycled glass spun into fine, interlocking fibers.
It is engineered to provide superior thermal insulation, effective acoustic absorption, and reliable fire protection. Its adaptable, lightweight nature makes it the ideal solution for insulating large, irregular, or hard-to-reach areas in construction and industrial settings.
Features & Advantages
Superior Thermal Insulation: The low-density fibrous matrix entraps air, creating an effective barrier against heat flow. This significantly reduces energy loss, improves building envelope efficiency, and lowers heating and cooling costs.
Excellent Sound Absorption: Highly effective at dampening airborne noise across a broad frequency range. It is a core material for reducing noise transmission in walls, ceilings, HVAC systems, and industrial equipment.
Lightweight & Highly Flexible: Exceptionally easy to handle, transport, and install. The blanket can be easily compressed, cut with a knife, and fitted snugly around obstacles, between studs, joists, and within complex cavity spaces without leaving gaps.
Non-Combustible Fire Performance: Classified as a non-combustible material (A1/A2 according to EN 13501-1). It does not fuel fires and can help slow flame spread, contributing to passive fire safety in buildings.
Resilient & Long-Lasting: Possesses excellent recovery properties; after compression during packaging and installation, it springs back to its intended thickness to fill cavities completely and maintain insulation value over time. Resistant to mold, mildew, and corrosion.
Moisture Resistant: Treated with water-repellent additives to resist moisture absorption under normal service conditions, helping to preserve its insulating performance.
Cost-Effective & Efficient: Provides high coverage per roll, minimal waste, and rapid installation, leading to lower overall project costs for both material and labor.
Sustainable Material: Contains a high percentage of recycled glass (typically 70-80%). It is fully recyclable and contributes to green building initiatives and certifications.

Building & Construction:
Timber/Metal Frame Insulation: Friction-fit insulation between studs in walls and rafters in pitched roofs.
Loft & Attic Insulation: Rolled out between and over ceiling joists in residential and commercial buildings.
Partition & Cavity Wall Insulation: For thermal and acoustic separation in internal walls and external cavity walls.
Floor Insulation: Installed between floor joists to reduce heat loss and impact sound transmission.
HVAC & Mechanical Systems:
Duct Wrap Insulation: Wrapped around HVAC ductwork to prevent thermal loss/gain and control condensation.
