Product Introduction
Percale and sateen are thin fabrics, and a closure on a sheet header sits directly under a sleeper's shoulder. The TS09 is the flat-face version of the 0910 snap: same four parts and same 9 mm die as the T09, with a shallower cap that leaves less of a bump under a pillowcase. It is the version specified for sheet sets, pillow covers and lightweight quilted shams, where the closure has to be secure but should not be findable by touch.

Product Description
Two things go wrong with a bedding closure on light cloth. The first is visible: a domed cap prints a circle into a pillowcase after a few nights, and on a white sateen that circle is the first thing a hotel buyer sees. The second is the fabric itself — a thin percale tears at the tack hole before the snap ever fails, so the bearing area of the tack matters as much as the pull strength. The TS09 is shaped for both: a shallow domed face that sits near the surface, and a tack that spreads the load into the weave instead of concentrating it at the hole. On quilted shams, specify the longer tack so it clears the wadding.

Factory Strength
Mould development, moulding and assembly are under one roof, which is what allows two face heights to run on shared tooling. Every lot is checked against the process sheet before the run — product name, size, colour, quantity and hole diameter — and at least three first pieces are confirmed by QC for model, hand-pull strength and appearance before mass production is released. Inspection continues at the press and before packing.

FAQ
1. Will the snap show through a pillowcase?
The TS09 face is deliberately shallow for exactly this reason — under a standard pillowcase the closure is not visible and barely detectable by touch. If the cover has a very tight fit, the flat face makes the difference.
2. How does it differ from the T09 used on duvet covers?
Only the face height. The socket, stud, tack and 9 mm die are identical, and both are tested to 90 N. Use TS09 on light fabric where appearance matters, T09 where the flap is heavy and grip matters more.
3. Will it tear thin percale?
Less readily than a small, high-profile snap, because the tack spreads the load into the weave. On very fine or open weaves, a small interfacing patch behind the tack adds further security.
4. Is it suitable for hotel linen?
Yes. There is no metal to rust and no plating to mark white fabric, and POM holds its dimensions through commercial laundering up to about 80°C.
5. What is the minimum order?
50,000 sets per size and colour. A set is a complete four-part unit — cap, socket, stud and tack — so the count equals the number of closures.
6. Can it be dyed to match a coloured sheet set?
Yes, to a Pantone reference or a physical swatch, confirmed on a sample before the bulk run. White is the stock colour.
7. What tooling do we need?
A 9 mm snap press or hand tool. Because the face is flatter, the press depth is set on the first piece and locked; there is no new equipment category to buy.
8. Does it pass needle detection?
Finished lots go through needle detection before packing, which is the usual requirement for bedding exported to North America and Europe.
9. Can the same snap be used on a retail-packed bedding set?
Yes — it is commonly used for the closure band and header tab on retail packs, where a plastic part is preferred because it does not scratch the packed linen.
