Product Overview
The Thin Film Evaporator is a high-performance, anti-fouling evaporation unit designed for heat-sensitive, high-viscosity, high-salt, and scaling liquids. It is widely integrated into lithium extraction from aluminum electrolyte, mother liquor concentration, impurity separation, and zero-liquid-discharge systems. Combined with MVR technology, it delivers continuous concentration and crystallization with minimal steam consumption.
Working Principle
Feed liquid enters the evaporator and is uniformly distributed by rotating wiper blades into a thin film (0.1–1 mm) on the heated wall. Under vacuum, the liquid film evaporates rapidly. Vapor is discharged to a condenser or MVR compressor, while the concentrated liquid or crystal slurry is discharged continuously. The short residence time (5–60 seconds) protects heat-sensitive materials such as lithium carbonate and prevents thermal degradation.
