As a leading manufacturer from Anping County Boli Hardware Wiremesh Products Factory (established in 1998), we take pride in offering our premium PET Functional Window Screen with a 18x18 mesh and 0.8mm thickness. This product is designed to provide superior insect protection while ensuring excellent airflow and visibility. With a 1-year warranty and a Mill Test Report available upon request, you can trust the consistent quality and performance of our window screen.

Our PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) material is specially engineered for durability, UV resistance, and easy maintenance. Unlike traditional fiberglass screens, PET screens are more resistant to tearing and corrosion, making them ideal for long-term use in various climates. The 18x18 mesh count strikes the perfect balance between blocking tiny insects like mosquitoes and gnats while maintaining clear visibility and natural light.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the difference between PET window screen and traditional fiberglass screen?
PET screen is made from polyester material, which offers higher tensile strength, better UV resistance, and less sagging over time compared to fiberglass. It is also more resistant to chemicals and moisture, making it suitable for coastal or humid environments.
Is 18x18 mesh fine enough to block small insects like no-see-ums?
18x18 mesh has openings of approximately 1.0mm x 1.0mm. While it effectively blocks most mosquitoes, flies, and larger insects, it may not stop extremely tiny insects like no-see-ums (midges). For such cases, we recommend a higher mesh count (e.g., 20x20 or 30x30) which is also available upon request.
Does the 0.8mm thickness make the screen too stiff?
No, the 0.8mm thickness provides a good balance of rigidity and flexibility. It is strong enough to resist tearing and maintain shape, yet flexible enough for easy installation in standard frames. The screen can be cut with scissors or a utility knife.
What does the 1-year warranty cover?
The warranty covers manufacturing defects such as loose weave, broken strands, or inconsistent mesh spacing. It does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or exposure to extreme conditions beyond normal use. Please contact us for full warranty terms.
Can I get a Mill Test Report for my order?
Yes, a Mill Test Report is available upon request for each production batch. The report includes data on tensile strength, mesh count, wire diameter, and material composition. This ensures you receive exactly what you specify.
What colors are available? Can I customize the color?
Standard colors are black, gray, and white. Custom colors can be produced for large quantity orders (minimum order quantity may apply). Please contact us to discuss your color requirements.
How is the screen packaged and shipped?
The screen is typically packed in rolls with protective wrapping. Standard roll widths are 1.0m, 1.2m, and 1.5m, and lengths of 30m or 50m. Custom sizes are available. We ship from Tianjin, Qingdao, Shanghai, or Foshan ports.
What is the typical lead time for this product?
For standard sizes and colors, lead time is 7–15 days after order confirmation. Custom orders may take 15–25 days. We always aim to ship as quickly as possible while maintaining quality.
