1. Product Description
The High Capacity Rotary Dryer for Copper Concentrate Drying is a high-throughput industrial drying equipment designed for large-scale continuous dehydration of copper concentrate in mineral processing plants. Copper concentrate is featured with fine particle size, slight viscosity and abrasiveness. Unstable moisture of the concentrate will affect the efficiency and stability of subsequent smelting and refining processes. This dryer adopts enlarged thickened wear-resistant drum, reinforced anti-caking lifting plates, high-efficiency heat exchange assembly and intelligent monitoring system. It can continuously process large volumes of wet copper concentrate, efficiently remove surface and internal moisture, and maintain stable discharging moisture. Capable of 24-hour full-load stable operation, it is the preferred drying equipment for large copper concentrate processing and smelting projects.
2. Working Principle
This high capacity rotary dryer for copper concentrate adopts gradient countercurrent circulating heat exchange and large-volume continuous dehydration principle. Wet copper concentrate is quantitatively and continuously fed into the heavy-duty rotary drum by the feeding system. The anti-caking and wear-resistant lifting plates repeatedly lift, overturn and scatter fine concentrate materials to prevent agglomeration and wall adhesion, forming a uniform material curtain so that fine copper concentrate particles can fully contact with hot air. Stable hot air flows countercurrently inside the drum for progressive heat exchange to evaporate moisture gradually. The PLC intelligent system monitors drum temperature, air volume and outlet concentrate moisture in real time, and automatically adjusts feeding speed and heat supply to keep consistent drying performance. Exhaust gas and fine copper dust are captured and purified by the sealed dust removal system to meet environmental emission standards. Qualified dried copper concentrate is continuously discharged for subsequent smelting procedures.
