1. Product Description
The 300 TPD Gold CIL Plant is an industrial-scale, turnkey carbon-in-leach facility built around mature, field-proven technology. It integrates leaching, carbon adsorption, elution, electrowinning and smelting into one continuous gold recovery line. Designed for medium to large gold mining operations, it delivers stable recovery, practical operation and long-term reliability.
This plant is suitable for established mines, expansion projects, satellite deposits, and operations processing high-grade or transitional ores. It can be supplied as a complete turnkey project or as a core equipment package, depending on client requirements. All major components are selected for industrial duty, ease of maintenance and dependable performance in remote or challenging site conditions.
2. Working Principle
Run-of-mine ore is crushed and ground to produce a fine slurry. The slurry flows into a series of agitated CIL tanks arranged in a cascade.
In these tanks, two key processes occur simultaneously:
Leaching: Lime is added to maintain the required pH, and sodium cyanide dissolves the gold into solution.
Adsorption: Activated carbon is present in the same tanks and adsorbs the dissolved gold complex directly from the pulp.
Because leaching and adsorption happen together, gold is continuously removed from solution and loaded onto the carbon. This helps drive the reaction forward and improves overall recovery.
Loaded carbon is advanced counter-current to the slurry flow and then transferred to an elution column. A hot caustic-cyanide solution strips the gold from the carbon. The gold-bearing solution is sent to electrowinning cells, where gold deposits onto cathodes. The gold sludge is then dried and smelted into doré bars.
The remaining barren pulp passes through a cyanide destruction step before being sent to the tailings storage facility. The process is monitored with practical instrumentation and a reliable control system, allowing a trained operating team to maintain stable performance.
