RSPD-500-U4H Surge Protector
A surge is an instantaneous ultra-high voltage generated in a circuit due to interference from other electrical appliances or lightning. This ultra-high voltage can threaten your electrical appliances. Once it enters your appliance, it may break down the components and insulation layers, or generate instantaneous large currents that burn out the appliance.
A surge absorber is used to suppress surges, allowing as few surges as possible to enter yoursystem circuit, so that yoursystem circuit'selectrical appliances can work normally without being damaged.Compared with other similar products, the fundamental difference of this surge absorber is that it can continuously protect the protected object when encountering continuous and multiple lightning strikes in a short period. There is no breakpoint. However, that semi-mechanical type cannot achieve continuous, always-on protection of the protected object. The function of a surge absorber is to prevent instantaneous high voltage from damaging equipment.
This product is specially designed for three-phase power circuit applications. It combines multiple PAVs with specially treated electrodes, greatly improving anti-noise test and surge life. This product is built as an individual unit.
