This 3 Way Explosion Proof Junction Box DN20 IP66 Die Cast Aluminum Cable Branch Box is engineered to provide reliable cable connection and branching solutions for various hazardous industrial environments where flammable gas, vapor or dust mixtures may exist. Adopting IP66 protection structure, the junction box delivers complete protection against dust ingress and powerful resistance to heavy water splashes and high-pressure water jet. It can work steadily in outdoor open-air sites, humid workshops and places with frequent water cleaning. The DN20 threaded ports are precisely machined, ensuring tight and seamless connection with matching explosion proof cable glands and conduits. As a 3-way wiring design, it offers flexible cable routing options for circuit splitting, junction and transition, greatly simplifying the on-site wiring layout and reducing construction difficulty for electrical installation projects.
The internal cavity of this explosion proof junction box is reasonably structured, reserving sufficient space for wire connection. The cover is equipped with reliable sealing gasket and explosion-proof joint surface, which can effectively prevent internal electric arc, spark and high temperature from igniting the explosive medium outside the enclosure. Multiple fastening bolts are evenly distributed on the cover to guarantee uniform compression of the sealing component, maintaining stable explosion-proof and waterproof performance after long-term repeated opening and maintenance.
Compared with plastic or cast iron junction boxes, die cast aluminum material brings obvious advantages: light weight for easy transportation and manual installation, excellent thermal conductivity to avoid heat accumulation inside the box, and good resistance to atmospheric corrosion. It will not easily rust under outdoor, salty fog or chemical fume environments. This 3 way explosion proof cable branch box is available in flat cover and hanging cover versions to meet different installation requirements, including wall mounting, ceiling suspension and pipeline vertical installation.
