XZFT Attachments excavator rock bucket:
1. The body is heavy plate throughout, sized at one cubic metre for a 21 ton class carrier, which is the build that takes hard ground rather than light soil.
2. The teeth are on bolt on adapters with exposed fasteners, so the points and adapters are renewed as parts instead of the edge being built up by welding.
3. A bolt on side cutter protects the corner, the line that grinds along the face on every pass, and is unbolted and replaced when it is worn.
4. Wear blocks are welded along the side plate edge in segments, so abrasion is taken by blocks that can themselves be replaced rather than by the shell plate.
5. The pin bores are bushed in a gusseted head, and the bucket runs on the machine linkage with no auxiliary circuit, so the service parts are the teeth, the cutter and the wear blocks.
