Product description:
1. The tines are closed by a hydraulic cylinder, so the load is held between them rather than balanced on an edge and lost on the way to the truck.
2. The tines close against each other towards the centre of the grab, so irregular material is trapped between them instead of rolling out of the gap.
3. The cylinder and the pivot bosses are welded into the frame, so the closing force is carried into the structure rather than into the pins alone.
4. The hoses are routed along the frame to the cylinder, so the hydraulic supply is carried by the structure instead of hanging loose where it can be snagged.
5. One double acting auxiliary circuit is what the grab needs, and it pins to the machine linkage, so a carrier with a spare valve can run it.
